[RC] Re:Peanut Rolling and Fly Masks - EventXC

Peanut-rolling: as someone who has to work on those poor creatures, maybe outsiders need to raise a fuss too.  I just saw a horse going to Paint Worlds who had serious damage done to it's pelvis, sciatic nerve and sacro-iliac area by 'injecting the tail'.  Heaven forbid that these horses with their 'natural' head carriage should also have a 'natural' tail carriage.  No, they have to kill or numb the nerves by injecting alcohol around the nerves.  Some of these poor horses can't swish their tail for flies or even lift them to poop. Although considered illegal in the rule book, this horse's tail was injected twice by a licensed, but in my book, unethical veterinarian....and don't get me going about Saddlebreds!

Fly Masks:  if you want to see some great fly masks, go to www.wildhorsestuff.com.
