[RC] motion sickness in the dark - Ridecamp Guest

Hug a pine tree? How bout a sagebrush, would that work in a
pinch?

I started this thread, after doing a 100 a few weeks ago. I have
since been messing around trying to "find" that feeling again.
I have found it, if I close my eyes and ride, it is the EXACT same
sensation. :oP I will work on doing more "closed eyes" riding.
I did find if I grab a little piece of mane, it seems to help
stablize my head some. Hopefully with some practice I will get
over the motion sickness, and be able to ride free handed. I too
am a controling personality type, but trust my horse well in the
dark. My trust issue with him in the dark is; he doesn't give one
penny about where the trail is or where the other horses went.
Even in the daylight, I have had him take off to follow a "more
interesting looking" trail even when all the horses ahead of him
went another way. :oP This is one independant guy, and has a HUGE
passion for adventure. If we were to get lost, I know he would not
care about finding his way home, until he had seen all he wanted
to see. Great to ride alone, but you better know how to get home.
:oP

Skyla and Tempo (hey, we haven't been there yet Mom!)
