Re: [RC] Re:Running - agilbxr

At my first LD ride, I was about 6 months post knee surgery.  And I was NOT prepared for the type of riding endurance riders do.  We did a slow 25 (5 hours ride time on the dot), and I had never ridden so far  and so fast in my life!  I got off at the finish for the last vet check, and trotted Alpine out.  He was spooking at stuff...he felt fine after the ride.  However, the comment I got from the vet was "you're horse looks great!  It's a good thing I don't have to judge your gait though"  Of course, the sorest part of me was my shoulders from holding the twit back for 25 miles....  I think I'm going to go do some push ups or something.

Juli and Alpine (i enjoyed myself.  I think mom was a little sore post ride though)
