Here's another example of a horse no one wanted and what his potential was....
Chester, the New Zealand Olympic horse was bought at auction and the meat buyers were bidding on him! He was a small, 15.1 or 2 hh, dark bay Tb; rather unassuming. And he went on to the Olympics!!!(can't remember where they placed- gold, silver or bronze.... :)
Not the usual route to find an Olympic 3 day eventer!
