Nobody really commented on this. Is it true? Is it the French that
somehow the "team" or whatever owns the horses so they cannot be sold? I
forget what I read, something about the federation is breeding their own
for that reason. I just wonder...when the opposition has such a habit of
buying up their competition...and it's hard to blame anyone for giving in
for money that could change their life or whatever... What would happen
if in order to nominate a person had to sign a letter agreeing not to
sell the horse after it has been short listed until after the event it's
nominated for.  What do ya'll think?
