Re: [RC] [RC] FEI: getting started - heidi

Well, if anybody wants to ride in the upcoming 20 Mule Team FEI 100,
they better already be in the process of getting their passport, if
they don't already have one. I've heard that it is required to enter
the FEI
ride....http://www.usef.org/content/equestrianSports/passports/index.php
 This was not required before, you could enter with a coggins and a
health  certificate, but no longer.
<snip>
If it takes the month and a half they say it takes to get the passport
maybe the upcoming FEI 100's will not have a lot of participants?? :^)

Well, actually, this rule has been in effect for awhile (it certainly was
last year, but I'm not sure if it was before that, or if so, for how long
before that)--at any rate, it isn't anything new. Folks planning to ride
in the FEI portion have likely been planning for quite some time.

Heidi
