Re: [RC] Looking for an Endurance Horse - Suzi Maiorisi

Get a MORGAN!!  I love mine and she loves the trails...she's not too big, not too small, can out trot and out walk most of the Arabians we meet and we have LOTS of fun...gaited doesn't hurt either Smiley emoticon

==========================================

I am interested in getting started in endurance. I have scribed for vets at two Biltmore Estate races and have observed and helped at a pit crew station. I have a quarter horse, but he is not sound enough for this type of challenge. I am looking for a Crabbett/Polish 5-10 year old gelding. Bay, chestnut, or brown with preferably no white stockings or feet. I am looking for a horse that already has trail experience. I live in Asheville, NC but would go to TN, SC, VA, or GA if the drive was not more than 3-4 hours. ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS?
