LOL,,, last year I don't know who was scared more, My appy mare or the young 
deer that T-boned her right behind my daughters leg. To this day that mare 
refuses to lope around that corner in the trail and comes around it with great 
caution and always that deep snorting breathing, Head tilted, and a very 
watchfull eye. My daughter saw it coming at the last minute and ended up 
thinking it was funny because it is also the corner that this particularly 
smart mare used to cheat going around and drag Cat's leg against the 
scotchbroom rather then yeild to the leg to move over,,, allowing her to short 
cut and bolt ahead of all the other horses on the last leg of the trail 
beforethe final turn home. Funny irony how that worked out and nature truly was 
the cure to the problem.
