[RC] Wild life stories - Dot Wiggins

One of the funniest (later) .
I was working out of a FS Lookout, markinng trail for the ride I was putting
on in off hours. Just finishing for the evening.
Just worked hard, standing as high as possible on the horse, throwing a rope
over a limb so I could pull it down to put a ribbon it, ribbon was high when
the limb flipped back up.
Rode on up the hill to the lookout, about 300/400 yds, Looked back and a
huge bull elk was standinng on his hind legs eating the ribbon. I yelled
and swore, but didn't help, he ate it all.

Same ride, another place, had a flock of wild turkeys pace my trotting horse
for about a mile 50/100 feet off to the side of the trail. They trotted
along single file, hens, toms, and big kids.

There's a good bear story too, maybe later, it's long.
