==========================================

I am really interested in this subject. First off the
disclaimer. I am on the east coast and am new to the sport.
Brenda Senseney competed her black walking horse mare, Part
Time Angel for over 10 years and 3900 miles and retired her
sound at 17. More recently Natalie Muzzio and Ranger (I don't know how old
Ranger is), a gaited morgan have almost 800 miles in Endurance and also does
CTR's with him. I know another competitor who just got an 11 year old walking
horse to compete. I am hopeful the consensus is positive for long term
soundness and that these are not just remarkable individuals. Please post your
answers to ridecamp, as I think it's a worthy endurance related topic. Thanks!
Cate
