[RC] guest rider etiquette - Andrea Faustina

I have been given the opportunity to be a guest rider at an upcoming
ride. I am new to the sport of endurance but not to horses and
horseback riding. I have completed one 25 mile LD on my own horse but
am a serious novice with regard to most things endurance. (I am
learning a lot on the list though but have only recently subscribed!)

So, please, can you all share with me what is expected of a "guest
rider"? I don't want to offend and very much want to be asked back! Do
I offer to pay for fuel, ride entry, feed for horse, etc??? What tasks
can I perform that are appreciated pre-ride, during ride, post-ride?

Thanks so much!!
