[RC] packing for pads - kc85124

I'm thinking of trying luwex full pads with the mesh so I could cut the mesh
out after the ride and was wondering what kind of packing you could use with
them. It was recommended to use equithane hoof pac but since I'd have to buy
the gun etc. I really can't justify the cost but didn't know if any other
packing could be used in place of the equithane. I normally use shock tamer
pads but think they would be hard to cut out after a ride. I had my horse
padded 2 shoeings in a row last spring and his feet got really soft so want to
try to avoid that happening again. Thanks for your help. Happy Trails, Kathy
