I swear by the stuff. (note it is NOT the same as BCAA). I
was beginning to think that my mare was not cut out for this
sport. A friend of mine tried it and really really liked it
and suggested I try it. Her energy remained up and combined
with the electrolytes that he recommends (not saying that other
electrolytes may not work as well)she maintained gut sounds
(which were a real problem), started eating at stops and
drinking. Ok sounds like miracle stuff LOL. Kidding aside
I really think it made a huge difference with my mare.

From personal experience when I started taking L-carnitine, I
believe that is one of the things that make BC2A better than
BCAA. I know there are differing opinions about the efficacy
of L-carnitine, but two days after I started taking it I was
able to walk up a hill that had always exhausted me. It helps
carry fat into the mitrochrondia of the cell for energy (at
least that is how I understand it). No, I don't feed extra
fat to my horse.

Email personally if you want more info. No I don't make $ from
the stuff.
