[RC] "the Wisdom of Repugnance" - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Saw a book yesterday on the issue of human cloning;no time to do anything but
glance.A phrase in it,"the wisdom of repugnance" struck me.Yes,technology is
neutral and unstoppable.What scares me is that in postmodern (aetheistic)
society (of which group I am pretty much a member),nothing is "forbidden" by
any higher authority than human law;nothing is really off the table.Anything
goes if you can make an argument for it,and of course one can make an argument
for anything.God help us if you're out there,and care,which I doubt in both
cases.
