[RC] Woolback pad to the rescue - Nancy

Way back in the fall I posted a question regarding my half Arab, half
Saddlebred who had loin rubs. You may recall my description of Jazzi's gait
as so big her hips wiggle with each stride. Well, long story short a
Woolback pad stopped the rubs and all her hair has grown back. I have been
riding with the new pad for about 2 months. Of course all the rain and no
riding has helped a lot! I can not say why a natural fiber pad worked and a
synthetic rubbed, but I understand it has to do with the way the wool fibers
interact with the horse hairs. Hope this will help someone. Happy to have
a happy horse again,
