I think the bottom line it has to do with financial investment and 
vested interest. There is a vested interest interest in all equine 
breeds to maintain the status quo and keep the current breeders in cash. 
. Most breeds would be better off if the "registry" were opened up but 
that would impact status quo and impact the breeding fees. It's just not 
TB's.

The good thing about endurance is it is not breed specific. Did you get 
a look at the horse that won the PAC, the one John T was commenting on. 
It doesn't even look like an Arab, gasp maybe it isn't!
