[RC] Coggins cards and Interstate equine passports - Truman Prevatt

There has been an agreement reached between most of the SE states and all will probably eventually sign up to accept a common equine passport card. The way it works is it extends a health certificate for 180 days or the duration of the coggins for travel between the states that accept it. It's sort of cool, you send in a copy of your health certificate and coggins and pictures of your horse (both sides and face) and they send you back a plastic card (holograms and all) the size of a credit card that has the pictures on one side and the information on the backside.

FL is also offereing a similar card for your proof of coggins. I just got mine back from the state - pretty cool.
