I beleive yes, and I didn't ask (but it doesn't really matter does it? at least 
genetically - I have heard from Eduardo (who is doing alot of embryo transfers 
here
on the Polo Horses (like ALOT) that the mare with which the baby is placed does 
make
a big difference though. They were seeing difficulties in bone growth and 
weight when
the mares were of a type which produced too much milk and didn't move around 
much. 

A brave new world to be aware of...
