I have had some luck contacting the local Chamber of Commerce when looking for places to park overnight with my horses.  They should be able to give information about rodeo or fair grounds and camp grounds.  At least who to contact.

How does one find out about who has fairgrounds and where they are?  I

suppose you could "google" the counties you are traveling through.
