Re: [RC] Colic in California - Dyane Smith

Congratulations, Jeannie.  Alamo Pintado is high class.  I'm very happy that your filly is doing well.  Amazing, how surgery has improved over the years.

I haven't had time to read all your posts, but wanted to Thank you and let you know, I took the filly to Alamo Pintado in Santa Ynez, and she had surgery last nite...for an impaction....they suggested it was weather related....she had no twists, no damage other than the impaction...small incision, standing in her stall, drinking and eating already!

WOW....what a nice facility Alamo Pintado IS...the Ritz Carlton of the Equine's World!

Thanks again....I'll read more later...
