[RC] colic - Nancy

Jeannie,
I had a horse with gas colic last fall. The new drug from Europe worked
wonders. We also walked her a lot. The other issue for us in the west is
the massive amounts of flowers and plants growing due to all the rain. Lots
of stuff cause colic due to inherent toxicity or rareness. My vet last week
warned me to stop letting our horses free graze in our neighborhood and on
the trails just for that reason. This had not made our horses very happy as
they have hackamores for trail grazing. I hope and pray your filly gets
better.
