I do the same as Merryben, wear them as "town" 'til
they start looking like "ranch" shoes, then turn them into riding
shoes. What I dislike about them for about the first couple of weeks, is that
the tongue is so thick it's uncomfortable until they're broken in &
flattened a bit. For $40, I can deal with that.
