[RC] Ted Kolpfenstein going home - Enduroride

Ted will be leaving the rehab hospital in Florida on April 12th and go home to Indiana. His son, Howard will be flying down to accompany him back on his flight home. He has made so much progress, it is unbelievable. He is now walking on his own with just a person to make sure he doesn't lose his balance. He can walk forward and backward. He feels like his old self again, still talking about riding and getting up the strength to jog a horse out. He has worked hard to make this comeback. His left arm, is still not working well, but he does have a grip in that hand and will continue to try to get the use back in his arm. The doctor feels he has a pretty good shot at returning back to what he was before the accident. He has gotten so many cards, he is overwhelmed. He asked us, how can he ever write or call everyone that has sent him good well wishes. He asked us to let you guys know that even though he will not be able to write you all, that he really appreciated all the encouraging words that each of you have sent. He said as soon as he is able, he will come to a ride to help, even if he was not able to ride. He is an inspiration to all who know him. Please do not send any more cards to the hospital, he will not be getting them there, thanks again for all your prayers for Ted. Connie
