[RC] stock trailer - Mary Bradford

I had a big quarter horse that didn't care for loading, riding or even looking at the trailer.  I parked it at the barn door and that was where she was fed.  (We have long winters in Montana so lots of time for this to sink in.)  I put the food at the point where if she stretched really really hard she could reach it.  Since Rio was basically lazy and stretching was work, she quickly learned that loading was no big deal.  After a few weeks of spending all her eating time and are you going to feed me time and maybe if I stand around in here food will magically appear time, the pawing and pacing went away.  Hope you can get your horse better.
