[RC] skito pad issue - Kathie Ford

Okay, coming out of lurking again.  Got a weird question about my skito pads which I love and seems to do my horses back well for the most part.  However,
my horse is losing some hair from some rubbing quite abit away from the back of the saddle..maybe 4 inches?  I have a synergist saddle, did the equimeasure, they refitted it to my horse and it fits beautifully, no rocking, she moves out very well, shoulders free, but...the pad itself is rubbing (seems to be up and down hills) this area several inches behind the saddle area.

I'm thinking it may have to do with her comformation...She is a well put together horse, well balanced, great feet, good muscling, but she has that slightly higher rear end and she doesn't have a long back.

any thoughts? ideas on this?  The pad otherwise left a perfect sweat pattern, no dry spots, clean and dry over the spine and she moves like she doesn't even have a saddle/rider on her so she's not hindered in anyway, and is extremely strong and fresh after a training ride...trying to figure this out.

anybody out there have a similar scenerio?
