[RC] Getting horse to eat hay - kc85124

A few years ago we had some hay that our horses wouldn't eat very well. Ended
up buying feed grade molasses and pouring it on the hay out of a syrup bottle.
Worked great!! At a ride last weekend my horse was wanting grass and wouldn't
eat his Bermuda hay very well so I tried the molasses trick and it did
encourage him to eat some of the Bermuda hay. I used regular molasses you buy
at the grocery store this time since that is all I had. The feed grade isn't
all that sweet and won't draw flies plus is more liquid. Happy Trails, Kathy
