[RC] Ted Klopfenstein old update - Enduroride

I wrote this about a week ago and forgot to send it, sorry,
Ted is doing much better. He is now able to propel himself in a wheel chair, although backwards with his legs. He is able to feed himself with oversized handles on his utensils, he is now walking on a standing walker (one that has handles that hold him up under his under arms) with only one person holding him up. He is very encouraged that he will be able to get back where he was, even the thought of riding has been crossing his mind. His left arm, still doesn't want to do what he tells it to do but he is working really hard. His plans are to stay in Florida at the rehab center for 3 more weeks and then go to another rehab center in either his hometown of Elkhart, IN or where his sons live in W. Lafayette, until he can go home. His sister in law plans to come and stay with him in his house until he can do everything for himself. He has been getting so many cards, you wouldn't believe it. He really liked getting the card from the convention with get well wishes on it from his friends and some famous people. He especially liked reading Julie Suhr's note, she is closer to his age than anyone else in AERC that he knows of. I will let you know if anything changes. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Connie
