[RC] All breed database, what fun on a stormynight!! - Laurie Durginha, they changed it since I last went to it.Boy did I have fun looking my horses up!!!My colt, now 4 who was a surprise... I had his dam, knew his sire,as he was the 3 yr old with his dam in the pasture (they thought he was too short to breed her,duh! and never 'saw' anything! -- but admitted he was the only thing around--- but wouldn't give me sires registered name, even though I asked a year later--they'd sold him-- horse dreams gone sour,and didn't want to talk about it. Shame, no registration.I had seen his papers when buying mare as they tried to sell him to me too, but I really didn't pay much attention. Looked very dishface, so I think he may have been Egyptian. Anyway I found my dun half arab-half appendix Qh. has percheron, and Holstener and Shagya Arab and more other arabs on his Tb side!!! LOL-- can't even figure percentages. He also has all 3 orginal arab sires in tb line, The Goldophin, the Barley Turk, and Darley arab. Not to mention the Qh part, which has the percheron in him. Many of the Qh have tb in them. So I figure he is more than 1/2 arab, maybe 2/3 and the rest is cold blood. Now I know where he gets those curly fetlocks in the winter.;0)
