RE: [RC] Losing Weight - Pam DeMerchant

Since we're all on the topic of griping about being called "too fat" or "too
skinny", I'm normal weight and get comments on a regular basis like "you're so
lucky, you're naturally thin", "you were born that way", etc. Overweight
people, like everyone else, can dish out the comments too. The reality of it
is I work very, very hard to maintain my weight and have been up to 55 lbs
heavier. I never dreamed that I could lose that much weight. It took getting
sick enough to force me to permanently change my eating and exercise habits.
For those of you who want to lose weight, I say, go for it! You can do it!
Ignore what others are saying and take ownership of your own life. Life is
what you make it, and you get to decide what will make you happy, not others.
If you're riding your horse and you're overweight, keep riding and have fun!

Pam
