[RC] Rider Weight, Saddle weight - Jonni

I do carry a bunch more stuff than many riders. Top it off, I am a "HWT"
division rider. One thing I always keep in mind is to ride training rides,
with the same tack and "stuff" (thus weight) as I would at the ride. If the
horse is conditioned to the weight, usually size of horse vs. weight has not
been an issue for me at least. I try to have a saddle that distributes the
weight across a larger area, making pounds per square inch not as high. I
"try" to ride balanced, and also make sure all my "stuff" such as water
bottles etc. does not flop and bounce. I have never had a really big, tall
horse, but do try to pick ones with good bone and substance.

Oh, and Mike, if you ever need something on the trail, just ask me, I'll
probably have it! LOL
