[RC] Rider Weight - Winter, Randy or Cheryl

   I would think length and position of the horses legs under the weight
would have some significance as to how much weight a horse could carry.
That's why women are better at the balance beam than men, lower center of
gravity  (Flame away :-) ) We had two small horses similar in their weight
and size that carried our weight very differently.  One had a narrow base in
the the front and felt wobblier to ride and mount.  The other was wider
tracked in the front and felt much more stable.  How that translates into
what they could carry over long distances is up for debate in this case
because the less stable horse ended up with over three times as many miles
as the more stable horse.  Other factors were in play though.
