I don't have my Merch Vet Manual with me but if you have one or someone you
know has one, you can look up the doses of meds for animals. Many take
MUCH more than we would. It has charts that list the med doses
by amount per wt. mas

I hope the pony is ok. When my pony (and he wieghed about 700) got into
the grain bag and ate about 20 pounds I gave him 16, 81mg aspirin per the
vet's instructions until he got there. He said the aspirin probably saved him
from foundering. But I can see Jerri's pony dosage ws much higher. Not sure
why the vet told her that. I hope the pony is OK.
