[RC] Fw: Raincoats - Jim & Drin Becker

What do all you rain riders suggest for rain riding gear. Do you like = 
the aussie coat?  Poncho?  Garbage bag?
I live where it rains 7 inches in a normal year...we are coming out of =
an eight year drought.  I ALMOST didn't ride Wild WEst first day cuz it =
was RAINING last year.  Luckily my friend Heide, had an  Aussie coat for =
me.  We had a blast!!!!

Check out Sharaf's Closet which is owned by Heidi Chretien , she has a site on endurance net and will also be at the AERC convention . She makes the best Aussie style rain coats , they come in different lengths and are absolutely waterproof and breathable .They also fold up small enough to go into your saddle bags . I happened to ride with her on a rainy 50 one time and she stayed dry while I was damp and clammy in my "Patagonia style" raincoat , that was enough to convince me , I now own one and they are all she says they are .
