RE: [RC] another winter song - Laurie Underwood

You’ve got ice, LA has snow, and Augusta, Georgia has chemical spills.  My main training grounds are probably 2 miles as the crow flies from the train wreck/chemical spill accident which occurred in Graniteville, South Carolina early Thursday morning.  They are now billing the accident as the worst chemical spill the nation has seen in years.  It occurred in a densely populated area around a textile mill, and I worry about the long term effects on those poor folks when they finally get to return to their homes.

Time for Plan B ….

Subject: [RC] another winter song

With snow in L.A., and NO snow in Minneapolis (the world turned upside down!) I was inspired to write my own winter song:

Oh the footing outside is frightful,

Can't ride cuz my horse might fall!

The ice on the road won't go...

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

The trails are hard and lumpy,

    My horse is getting grumpy.

The next time we ride he'll explode...

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
