[RC] Thanks for the Info - Adam and JannelleThanks to everyone who has posted to the list and privately regarding my beginners questions. I have to say, I think I knew many of the suggestions but sometimes it's better hearing them from others. And thanks so much to those who gave some specific riding tips. Years ago, when I wanted to start riding again, my husband bought me this book called "How to Overcome Your Fear of Riding". It was a detailed account of lifetime, career horsemen who had had major spills and many almost died from their injuries. The reasons that most got back on their horse was because that's what they did for a living and had done it all their lives. I'm just not sure exactly how it applied to the average person as most folks would almost die and figure that if they were going to ride again, they needed a "plod along" kinda horse. I give the book away since all it did was make me more apprehensive LOL! I'm thinking I will be finding a good instructor and get some lessons!
