Hello!
I'm sitting here in cold, wet CNY, looking out the window at the 
northeastern shore of Cayuga Lake.  The weather STINKS!  I'd rather have 
snow over all this rain and wind!  Can't ride in this stuff!

Are there other LD riders here in the triangle between Rochester, Syracuse, 
and Ithaca?  I have a friend at the barn who enjoys a short trail ride but 
don't know anybody who rides 10 or more miles at a pop.  I'm also looking 
for info about rides this coming spring and summer.  My mare, a QH/App cross 
(and gorgeous if I do say so!) and I are ready for something alittle 
energetic.  She was a dream last summer out with all sorts of spooky stuff, 
(you know, cows, woodcocks, streams, bridges, campers, dogs) and I'd like to 
try the next level.    I'm trying to put miles on her this winter when the 
weather permits using dirt roads and farm roads, but don't know where to 
find good training trails within a short drive.  I can haul with a rented 
trailer and would love to work with someone once in a while.

I love to hear from anyone with ideas!  Julie  <><
