angie, hopefully you are over the stress of the incident with the dog.  if you want a good laugh out of a similar situation,  you need to get some of the "adventures of hank the cowdog".   they are available as books on tape.  it is supposed to be a children's series of course, but i guarantee plenty of laughs for "big kids", too.   there is one episode where hank the cowdog does the very same thing, scarfs down a pile of bacon grease.  it is hilarious.  i will look for my tapes, but i think that scene is in a story called, "hank the cowdog and the case of the one-eyed killer stud horse".       ed
