It's hard to read the post-it from say China...
 
When I've been in that situation, I put it in my wallet. I figure if my wallet has gone missing, there's been a serious security breach.

Actually, that's a real drawback of having overly strict policies. People don't comply with them or find ways to subvert them. Better to have a weaker policy everyone will follow.

Our company makes you change your password so often that people have it on a post it note on their screen.  Wow, that is secure.....
