[RC] Lice, mange and other icky stuff - Mike & Laurie Hilyard
My son's mare has been itching around her poll and
neck, and she's lost some hair - quite a bit under her mane. The skin is
dry and unbroken, and the itch is mild, not something she's doing for
hours. I just used some delouse powder on her. I live in the great
white north, so there isn't much sun, but she is free to wander in and out of
her barn into a three acre pasture. Is this lice? Anybody have any
experience with these symptoms? My horse and my husband's look fine.
