RE: [RC] [RC] breeds competing in 2004 - Nancy Mitts

Up until a few years ago, AERC only tracked a few of the major breeds and everything else was lumped into "other". I think as the software, and technology in general has improved it has made it easier to track more things. Either that or someone is now doing more work! <BG> A lot of those "others" are probably some other breeds now listed.
For instance our Amonte breed shoes only 6 rides entered, but out stallion has 5000 career miles.
I think Spanish Mustang showed 23, that's probably just one year or less for Geronimo.
And no, I'm not saying anybody needs to go sort them out!

>thanks for the information, mike!   and what about "other"?   there are lots of "others" competing.   maybe some folks just forgot to list the breed of their horse on the ride entry form.   as for the grade horses,  maybe lots of them are just that, grade.  crossbreds, unknown.
>i for one am glad to see other breeds in endurance and doing very well at it.       ed
