If folks are interested I will post phone numbers of Stewarts Horse Camp and also the other horse camp, plus some other places to stick horses (Steward Ranch in the barn; Five Brooks), plus a general tourist number that has lists of horsey bed and Breakfast places....I am guessing most horse camps all over Calif are closed over winter; a really nice little Horse camp off Hwy 20 between Willits and Ft. Bragg (Chamberlin Creek), which is in redwoods and very near the ridcamp for the Chamberlin Creek Horse camp closed Labor Day. Heck, I have a huge box of info on Calif. horse camps and phone numbers...should I dig that all out and post it? I could probably find it on a map. We live about 75 min. away so we almost never stay overnight. You can RV horsecamp at Stewart Horse Camp, on Hwy 1, just show up, or you can pack in, although in that case you need to call ahead. However it looks like rain for the rest of the week. But if you can take it, the rain makes for extreme beauty.
