RE: [RC] [RC] Kids - Peter Harper

Hello to everyone!

My name is Lacy Jae, I'm 22, have three horses, and live in Calgary,
Alberta, Canada.

I just joined this group because I am interested in possibly starting
some endurance riding in the future.

I was just given three horses a couple weeks ago, so I am not going to
be starting anything very soon. One is still green and we are going to
be training her. I have a quarterhorse (1/10 thoroughbred that is
apparently very apparent in her), an appaloosa paint, and her daughter
who looks like a quarterhorse (the green one).

In any case, I am looking at things I can do with my girls, and
endurance sounds pretty interesting, so I was hoping that I might
learn about it on this group. I have a provincial endurance site
bookmarked, but it doesn't have a lot of total beginner information. I
thought it would be a good idea to learn as much as I can early on,
and figured that a mailing list where I could talk to people would be
an excellent place to start!

I hope everyone is having a happy holiday time, whatever you celebrate
(or even just time off work/school/extra pay). :)
