[RC] Preventing Scratches - Ridecamp Guest

Please Reply to: Susan Shook ridesalot@xxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
==========================================

We recently moved to AZ and had alot of problems with scratches. All horses
have healed over the winter but I am wondering what is the best way to prevent
a reoccurance. I really can't get excited about applying Desitin or other
treatments daily to 3 horses for the growing season (9 months). Does anyone
know if applying a fungicide to our pasture would help? Also wondering if it
is ok for the horses to graze on pasture that has been treated with fungicide.
