Re: [RC] [RC-Digest] Vol: 03.2178 Timothy Hay and Temps - Chipnml

Wow, I never realized Timothy Hay was such a precious comodity in other parts of the country.  Here in MN I've found it pretty standard to get either Timothy or Orchard grass.  I paid $3.50/bale for some nice 75% Timothy 25% clover/alfalfa...that includes delivered and stacked in the barn.  Temps here this past weekend were -8 in the morning with a howling wind from the NW, switching to the SW, keeping windchills well below zero.  And still no snow in the Twin Cities, so I haven't ridden for a couple weeks now, the ground being too frozen and slippery.  Both Cheers and I are getting ornery!
