RE: [RC] Hoof Armour - Kristi SchaafI'd also like to hear from anyone using it. I spoke to the inventor at a horse seminar this fall and decided to try it to help prevent snowballing on my barefoot horses this winter. My farrier volunteered to buy the Hoof Armour and use my horses as guinea pigs, but that came to a halt when we found out that they can't stand on cement or rubber mats for 24 hours after application (I haul my horses to the farrier because he works at a university). I have to walk my horses on both cement and rubber to get them back home! I haven't decided yet if I want to invest in the $75 kit plus an $80 heat gun, but if it really does help alleviate snowballs, I'll plunk the money down in a heartbeat.
