Re: [RC] Cost of Shoeing - Suzi Maiorisi

I'm in South Texas and my shoer charges me $60 for all 4 shoes to be reset.  I use Ground Control shoes so he does charge me extra for shoes when getting a full set of new ones, but it's minimal, maybe $10 a pair for them which is much cheaper than I can get them from GC myself.

Subject: [RC] Cost of Shoeing

Can somebody explain to me the cost's involved in shoeing?  The 4 shoes
certainly and taking them off and on?  Cost of ferriers time,
trimming...everything.  Currently I get charged 95$ every 6 weeks and the
shoes are removed, trimmed and I guess put back on...is that a good price?

What about just removing the shoes?

Thanks for all your input..
