Re: [RC] [RC-Digest] Vol: 03.2130 Hot shoeing - Chipnml

My farrier has hot shoed since I started using him 21 years ago.  He also does side clips on all four. I have yet to lose a shoe (knock on wood!).  Nor have I ever had a problem with "crumbling feet" in 20+ years of having them hot shod.  I do have my shoes pulled for the winter and have no problems with ouchy feet except a little on gravel roads.  My feeling is the quality of hoof is either genetic or nutritional.  Just my 2 cents worth :-)
