Acutally, I just read an article not too long ago
about races where people are being pulled on skis by a
horse running ahead of them full speed. Its a sport
called ski-joring or something like that. From the
Scandinavian countries originally I think.


We used to do that when I was a kid--take a dally with a lariat on the
saddle horn, and pull somebody on skis.  I didn't like dodging the
snowballs thrown out of the horses' feet--I always rode and towed...
