[RC] Dogs in RC - JOLYNN MAYNARD

Truman is correct, I can remember reading everything about dogs currently
a couple years ago, BUT apparently some people never learn.

I have a small dog that goes every where with me, she is quiet and well
behaved and I do NOT take her to rc meetings, vet checks, awards and
especially dinners! I used to and she was well behaved but I have seen
big dogs try to eat out of my plate and acutally lick from one of the
dishes set out to serve riders, dogs pee on chairs, get in fights and I
decided that even though mine behaved, I would leave her in the trailer
when I go to meetings, keep her on leash when walking around camp or leave
her at trailer. I let my dog go loose but I make sure I am out of the
camp and alone first.

And if manager said no dogs then I would choose not to attend the ride
rather than break the rules, no harm done. I get so tired of misbehaved
dogs running loose, I wish all management would say no dogs at any
meetings or dinner at least and I love my dog very much but let's be
responsible dog owners and horse owners.
