At the Quicksilver Spring Classic, where no dogs were allowed according to
park regulations, a rider left her dog in her vehicle. She started the
ride.
The dog barked. She was disqualified from the ride at the vet check; she
and
her dog were forced to leave the area while two other members of her
family
continued the ride. So read your ride entries carefully and go only to
those that
have rules you can abide by.
Also, remember that a horse is a prey animal. Tied to a trailer he is
helpless and he knows it. It is not fair to allow your dog to invade his
space
regardless of how small or well mannered he may be. Julie
